A home away from home for the Bengali community in Linköping.
Our Story
Linköping Utsav was founded in 2018 by a group of Bengali families who wanted to keep their cultural roots alive while building a new life in Sweden. What started as a small gathering to celebrate Durga Puja has grown into a vibrant community of over a hundred families, coming together throughout the year to celebrate Bengali Hindu festivals and share the richness of Indian culture with the wider Linköping community.
Our Mission
We believe that culture is the thread that connects generations and bridges communities. Our mission is to celebrate Bengali Hindu traditions, preserve our language and arts, and create a welcoming space where immigrant families can feel at home — and where Swedish neighbours are always invited to join the celebration.
